Does Fritz’s have a connection to the University?

Fritz’s is proudly owned by Jonathon Guarino, a Cook College graduate from Rutgers University. Co-owner Robin Varga, a lifelong resident of New Brunswick, brings local insight and passion to our team. We are dedicated to catering events that resonate with our local community and celebrate our shared roots.

Is Fritz’s approved to cater at Rutgers?

In 2019 Fritz’s bid and was awarded a firm RFP for University Wide Catering Services. We are permitted to provide both casual fare and full service catering throughout the University.

Do you accept PO’s?

Absolutely! Fritz’s routinely processes purchase orders for different departments at the University. We are well-versed in the purchase order procedure and eager to handle your request. Given the time required to process purchase orders on our end, we will gladly facilitate a purchase order for any order totaling over $100.

Does Fritz’s accept alternative forms of payment for students?

Yes! Fritz’s gladly accepts RU Express for all students who utilize it. Additionally, we welcome payment via the Red Card for Student Athletes and the Elevate Meal Plan through their third-party app.

How does Fritz’s give back to the community?

Since opening our doors in 2015, Fritz’s has become a cornerstone of the community. Over the years, we have played host to numerous Dine to Donate Fundraisers for various student organizations including Sorority and Fraternity philanthropies, Dance Marathon, cultural and academic student groups and many organizations promoting the arts. Alongside monetary fundraisers we are always delighted to donate food to charitable events across the University.

Our commitment to supporting Rutgers Athletics is unwavering, as evidenced by our acceptance of the Red Card for Student Athletes at Fritz’s. We are always encouraged when asked to cater for a wide variety Rutgers teams throughout the year. Additionally, every September, we take pride in participating in the "Back to the Banks" event, extending a warm welcome to incoming freshmen as they begin their journey at the University.
